Ryan Kauth is a Lecturer of Entrepreneurship for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay.
He earned a BS from UW-Green Bay, earned an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, and is working on his DBA at UW-Whitewater. Prior to teaching fulltime at UW-Green Bay in 2017, Ryan worked at the Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay, worked in business banking for 5 years, consulted with small businesses to help them start and grow and exit, and started his career in quality control for a food manufacturing company.  

Ryan is currently teaching Strategic Decision Analysis (BUS ADM 490), Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management (BUS ADM 481), Business & Its Environment (BUS ADM 202), Entrepreneurial Finance (BUS ADM 373), and New Venture Acceleration (BUS ADM 485), several of which are part of the four-course Entrepreneurship certificate at UW-Green Bay, a certificate course for all UW-Green Bay students. He has also taught Introductory Marketing and Bank Administration at UW-Green Bay. Students can also work with Ryan to earn credit in independent studies for entrepreneurial skills development and to earn credit in a summer travel course in where students work with international team members to build a tech startup in three weeks.   

Ryan serves as an officer (vice chair) on the board of Shoreline Credit Union, on the Two Rivers Business Association finance committee (former treasurer), as a chief mentor at Google program the European Innovation Academy, as an organizer for the 1 Million Cups Green Bay community, as administrator of the Northeast Wisconsin Business Plan Contest, as a SCORE certified mentor in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties as well as nationally, as an advisor for Two Rivers Biz Starts, as a judge for Wisconsin’s state business plan contest and youth business plan contest, as a member of the Fox Connection which puts on The Pitch annually, on a committee of the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association, as an officer of the Sigma Beta Delta business administration honor society at UW-Green Bay, and on the Cofrin School of Business’s curriculum committee. Prior to this, Ryan served on the board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association, as treasurer of the American Marketing Association Northeast Wisconsin chapter, on two area young professionals networks boards (Coastal and the Young Professionals of Manitowoc County), as board committee chair on two Main Street programs, as treasurer of a local Habitat for Humanity, and on committees for Advance Economic Development, Progress Lakeshore/EDCMC, the Chamber of Manitowoc County, and the Sheboygan County Chamber.
