Job Title: Senior Banker
Why did you choose to go into your program of study?
I have always been business minded and I love meeting new people.
When you began at UW-Green Bay, what did you expect for your future?
I wasnt sure, I knew I would leave with a degree and then I would probably find a job doing something in the business field. But I had no clue what to expect. Then the 2008 financial crisis hit and I was really unsure what the future held for jobs.
Did you have a job/internship in your field while going to college that helped spark your interest?
I did not due to my athletic commitment. So I leaned heavily on Linda Peacock-Landrum and my "team" trusted family members and friends to find a job in the field that I liked.
What were you involved in while a student at UW-Green Bay?
UW-Green Bay Men's Basketball, I held a spot on the Chancellor's Diversity Committee for 3 years, Black Student Union.
Where are you currently employed? Please describe your position.
I am a Personal Banker at Associated Bank, N.A.
How do you keep in contact with other alumni?
What advice would you have for a student wanting to enter your field?
Network, Network, Network! Always be willing to throw yourself into situations or events where you can meet new people and get your name out there. Also you have to bring energy, with everyone going back to school to get additional degrees you must use your personality to set yourself apart!
Can we share your e-mail address on our website/can career services give it out to students inquiring about a job in your place of employment/field?
