Marjorie B. Kiewit is a life-long learner and a strong supporter of higher education. She received her undergraduate degree from Lawrence University in 1943. After raising four children, she returned to school and received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Marjorie was the first woman chair of the Board of Trustees for Lawrence University and earned the distinction of Trustee Emerita. Her and her family has supported UW-Green Bay since its beginning and Marjorie received the UWGB Chancellor's Award in 1971. She recalls receiving a scholarship of $150 in as a college freshman in 1943 and she established this endowed scholarship in 2014 to help future generations achieve their dream of a college education.
