This course is open to all PK-16 educators, administrators, and past SITA Academy participants! This registration page is only for those wanting to enroll for University credit. To register for noncredit technology workshops go to www.ewitc.org/sita

Course Description:

Join us for a wide variety of sessions focusing on current trends in technology and technology integration during the week of July 28-31, 2014 held at Southwest High School in Green Bay!

Credit participants will attend an initial class session on Monday, July 28 from 2:45-4:45 PM (this will be right at Southwest High School where the SITA Academy is held), and participate in a minimum of 6 hours of technology workshop sessions of your choice from those offered during the Summer Instructional Technology (SITA) Academy and edCamp, Monday through Thursday, July 28-31, 2014 and engage in an additional 6 hours of course participation via distance learning. SITA is sponsored by the Eastern Wisconsin Instructional Technology Consortium (EWITC) and CESA 7 in cooperation with UW-Green Bay.

If you are not employed with a school/ district that is a member of the EWITC consortium, you will also be responsible for the SITA Academy fee. Please go to http://www.ewitc.org/sita to view the list of EWITC consortium member schools/districts.


TO REGISTER:

1). ALL PARTICIPANTS (credit and noncredit) must go to http://www.ewitc.org/sita to register for the technology workshop sessions of your choice. Credit participants must register for the required credit session on Monday, July 28 from 2:45-4:45 PM as well as a minimum of 6 hours of technology workshop sessions during the SITA Academy/edCamp week.

2). Credit participants must also register with UWGB by completing this online registration form. (Click the red "Register Online" button on the top or bottom of this web page, then continue by completing the information required on each page.)

  • Prerequisite: Graduate Standing (Must have earned a bachelor’s degree); participants must also register for a minimum of 6 hours of technology workshop sessions at http://www.ewitc.org/sita. If you are not employed with a school/ district that is a member of the EWITC consortium, you will also be responsible for the SITA Academy fee. Please go to http://www.ewitc.org/sita to view the list of EWITC consortium member schools/districts.

  • Schedule: All credit participants will attend an initial class session on Monday, July 28 from 2:45-4:45 PM; participate in a minimum of 6 hours of technology workshop sessions of your choice from those offered during the Summer Instructional Technology (SITA) Academy/edCamp, Monday through Thursday, July 28-31, 2014; and engage in an additional 6 hours of course participation via distance learning.
