This course is open to educators employed with the Green Bay Area Public Schools who have also registered through My Learning Plan.

Course Description:

In this course, Green Bay Area Public School District educators will explore concepts related to technological knowledge gaps among teachers and learners (defined as “digital natives” and “digital immigrants”), particularly in terms of teaching and learning in the 21st century. We will be focusing on the integration of Green Bay Area Public School District online resources and technology.

Three Graduate Credits ($637)

  • Course Number: EDUC 695-6, section 7404 (#0190D)

  • Prerequisite: Graduate Standing (Must have earned a bachelor’s degree); must be employed as an educator with the Green Bay Area Public Schools and registered through My Learning Plan.

  • Schedule: Wednesday, June 25; Monday, June 30; Wednesday, July 9; Mondays, July 14, 21, and August 4, 2014 (8:00-11:00 a.m.); and a minimum of 27 hours of instruction meeting online.
    (The official course start and end dates for fee and grade reporting purposes are June 25 to August 19, 2014.)

  • Teacher Standards # 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10


Three Undergraduate Credits ($394)
  • Course Number: EDUC 495-6, section 7404 (#0190DU)

  • Prerequisite: Must have graduated from a recognized high school; must be employed as an educator with the Green Bay Area Public Schools and registered through My Learning Plan.

  • Schedule: Wednesday, June 25; Monday, June 30; Wednesday, July 9; Mondays, July 14, 21, and August 4, 2014 (8:00-11:00 a.m.); and a minimum of 27 hours of instruction meeting online.
