Course Description:

Join us and learn how to model digital literacies while using a plethora of digital tools! We will explore how to teach digital writing by studying author’s craft with the use of mentor texts, and we will learn to rely on good pedagogy to guide our decision making when teaching digital writing.

~Offered in partnership with the Plymouth School District

Comments from Participants:

"This class taught digital literacy tools that could be immediately implemented in any classroom!"

"Digital literacy and online safety are both essentials for our students today. The course has made me more aware of ways to teach our students to evaluate online resources and determine whether or not they effectively allow students to share the information that is relevant to the class. "

"I have been able to create lessons that allow for students to express their knowledge in many ways rather than just putting pencil to paper or verbalizing in my presence. "
