Research Interests American Government and Politics; Political Behavior; Campaigns and Elections; Political Psychology; Voting Behavior; Political Participation; Statistics; Research Design and Methodology.
Current Research: I am currently working on research papers that examine (1) the influence of individual personality traits and psychological dispositions on political and civic participation, (2) the influence of campaigns during mayoral elections, and (3) the determinants of campaign spending across local elections. To date, my research has been published in Political Research Quarterly, Political Behavior, American Politics Research, Journal of Elections, Public, Opinion & Parties, Presidential Studies Quarterly, and Social Science Quarterly.
