Who Can Apply?

All admitted first year students are welcome to apply. We are particularly interested in serving students who are the first in their family to attend college.

Some students are automatically enrolled in the GPS program as a part of their admission. These students are notified at the time of their admission that they will be participating in GPS.

If you weren’t notified at the time of admission – don’t worry, you can still participate in GPS! You just need to complete the brief online application.

What Happens After I Apply?

We will begin notifying students of admission into the GPS program in April. Upon admission, students will be asked to confirm their participation in GPS and will then be able to choose their GPS courses for the fall semester. GPS students will be enrolled early in their fall GPS courses (6 credits total), so you will have these courses in your schedule by the time you attend GB Orientation in June.
