We'll start the day with an overview of why now is such an exciting time to join the UWGB campus community! Light refreshments will be served.
1:00-1:30pm, Students Speak: A Q&A with UWGB Students

Hear directly from current students about all of the most important things you need to know to successfully transition to college life, like choosing a major, getting involved, dining, technology and financial aid. Got questions? Bring 'em!
1:30-1:35pm, Ambassador Introductions

Meet our University Student Ambassadors, student leaders who assist new students with all things UWGB. Each incoming student will be assigned an Ambassador who will lead them through their next two sessions.

1:40-2:45pm, Small Group Activities with Student Ambassadors

Ambassadors will lead small groups of students through fun activities to help you get to know each other and campus. They'll also help you take care of important business, like ID photos, Emergency Contact forms, registering for campus parking, and more.

1:45-2:45pm, Health, Safety, Campus Climate & Student Success

Hear from our Dean of Students Office, Health and Counseling Center, Public Safety, Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs, and Directof of Student Success about how UWGB supports your students' health, safety, well-being, and academic success.
3:00-3:30pm, Paying for College, Christie Theatre

Meet helpful staff from the Office of Financial Aid and the Bursar's Office to learn more about how to fund your college education.
3:45-4:10pm, Living Off-Campus, Christie Theatre

Many students choose to commute for classes. Learn about how to balance off-campus life with on-campus involvement to maximize your college experience. We'll also discuss the best places to park based on your class schedule, public transportation options, dining and more.
3:45-4:30pm, Student IDs & Campus Tours, University Union Concourse, 2nd floor

Be sure to stop by the UTIC to pick up your UWGB Student ID! Student Ambassadors will also be available to provide custom campus tours, and the Phoenix Bookstore will be open so that you can stock up on UWGB gear, school supplies and/or textbooks!
