Amulya Gurtu is the Chair-Business Administration and a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Cofrin School of Business in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He received his Ph.D. from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, an M.B.A. from Ivey Business School, Western University, London, Canada and an M.Tech.(Engineering) from Bhopal University, India.

Dr. Gurtu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management, logistics management, and project management. His research interests include optimizing supply chains, global operations and offshore outsourcing, while minimizing their impacts on the environment. His research is targeted towards optimization of supply chains and global operations, while including the triple bottom line of sustainability (economic, environmental and social) for corporate organizations.

Dr. Gurtu is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & Logistics (Taylor & Francis). He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility (IGI Global) from 2017-2020. He is a manuscript reviewer for several top journals including the International Journal of Production Economics (Elsevier), the Journal of Cleaner Production (Elsevier), the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management (Emerald), the Journal of Business Ethics (Springer).
