SAIL - Safe and Inclusive Living

SAIL | Safe and Inclusive LivingThe Safe And Inclusive Living (SAIL) community is a campus housing option in which students agree to share a university apartment with others regardless of the occupants’ sex assigned at birth, gender identity, gender expression, and/or sexual orientation. This community is an open and supportive environment for everyone to be their authentic selves and be surrounded by other’s who value those same things. While this space was created out of a need for LGBTQIA+ students to have a safe floor, allies can also self-select to live on this floor, so long as they agree to abide by the Community Living Agreement. The philosophy is simple - all on-campus residents deserve to feel safe and welcome in their residential community.
