About Rodney De Spirito

The late Rodney W. De Spirito was a graduate of UW-Madison. He served on the University Village Housing Incorporated Board of Directors, a non-profit corporation which partnered with UW-Green Bay to build modern housing on campus. Rodney served his country in the U.S. Army, in the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam as an artillery officer until July 1966. For a 25-year tenure, Rodney was employed by Tape, Inc., serving as President for many years. He later purchased Dillon, Inc., which he operated until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of Oneida Golf and Country Club. For over 20 years, he was a member of the Neighborly Dance Club. He was an avid boater, grouse hunter and snowmobile enthusiast. Rodney was passionate about golfing and all things railroad.
