Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology - University of Pittsburgh (2004)
Dr. Gear is a licensed and certified athletic trainer with over 25 years experience as an athletic trainer and athletic training educator. Dr. Gear also serves as a peer reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
Research:
Dr. Gear's research interests include examining the effects fatigue has on proprioception and stability and its relation to musculoskeletal injury, and the effect therapeutic interventions have during the healing process.
