Essential Job Functions

This position reports to the Director of K-12 Relations and will be primarily responsible for working in collaboration with the Director of K-12 Relations to manage aspects of the College Credit in High School (CCIHS), Education Outreach and additional programming in K-12 Relations. The individual will assist in the development of new innovative programming in Education Outreach and additional offerings for CCIHS throughout Wisconsin. The Outreach Specialist will oversee and manage CCIHS processes including enrollment, billing and serve as the main point of contact for program requirements. Additional responsibilities include the planning and development of the Academic Competition and Education Outreach classes.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the College Credit in High School (CCIHS) concurrent enrollment program in collaboration with the Director of K-12 Relations, including
    • Perform Student Orientation and Registration visits
    • Lead enrollment processes
    • Coordinate billing processes
    • Serve as the main point of contact for teacher program requirements and responsibilities
  • Plan and organize Education Outreach professional development classes including scheduling, hiring of adjunct instructors and development of marketing plans.
  • Manage the UW-Green Bay Academic Competition including marketing, communication with high schools and overseeing the registration process.
  • Analyze requests and interest in professional development training for practicing K-12 teachers.
  • Assist with instructor approval process for CCIHS and Education Outreach including credential file development, syllabus creation and providing guidance to teachers who are seeking adjunct instructor status.
  • Collaborate with UW-Green Bay faculty to plan professional development opportunities for CCIHS teachers.
  • Promote the Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement and UW-Green Bay initiatives related to K-12 relations, community engagement and other outreach.



  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field at time of application
  • 3 years experience in education or professional development training
  • Working knowledge of Wisconsin teacher licensure and dual enrollment


  • Experience in higher education
  • Experience working with high school students
  • Knowledge of K-12 schools

The successful candidate will have strong oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, the ability to communicate with a diverse student, employee, and community population, demonstrated integrity and strong leadership, and the willingness to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team in a high-volume work setting. This position is expected to manage multiple projects, self-prioritize and remain flexible to shifting priorities and deadlines. Conditions of Appointment

This position will require occasional evening and/or weekend work.  Travel is required for school visits and meetings.

Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment.  Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). Salary range of $38,000 - $43,000. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
