Mussie Teclezion is an Associate Professor of Business (Finance) for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.  He received B.A. in Accounting from University of Asmara, Eritrea in 1999, M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2003, and PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 2008.

Dr. Teclezion is currently teaching Corporation Finance and Principles of Investment. His past teaching includes International Financial Management, Advanced Investments, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Managerial Finance. Dr. Teclezion’s research areas include corporate investment policy, geographic and industrial diversification strategies, and earnings management. He has published in Journal of Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance Review, and Managerial Finance.

Dr. Teclezion is faculty advisor for Student Finance Association. He is member of Curriculum Committee and University-wide General Education Council. He is also a member of the Green Bay’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration planning committee and chairs the Fundraising Sub-Committee.
