Choosing a Destination

There are a lot of factors to consider when selecting a location for exchange including location, placement availability, course selection, housing, and financial aid. Students are encouraged to meet with a National Student Exchange Coordinator in the Office of International Education to discuss their plans in detail prior to completing an application.

Comprehensive information on National Student Exchange member universities can also be accessed through links at the exchange homepage: www.nse.org or individual campus websites.

The National Student Exchange utilizes two different plans for payment of tuition and fees. UW-Green Bay participates in Plan B; therefore, students are eligible to exchange only with other Plan B schools. Plan B excellent (acceptance ranking) institutions are the easiest to obtain placement in followed by good, limited, and finally competitive.
