Aviation and Aerodynamics for Private Pilots

Expand your horizon through the realm of flight and aerodynamics with Aviation and Aerodynamics for Private Pilots course!

Appropriate for ages 16 and older!

Course Description:

Are you interested in learning to fly for recreation or as a career? CAVU's Flight School premier training program is designed to help you understand the aerodynamic principles and physics of powered flight as well as to evaluate the exciting field of aviation as a career or hobby! This course prepares you for successfully passing the FAA Private Pilot written exam. Upon completion of the 10-week course, you will receive an endorsement to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test.

Prerequisite:
Must be age 16 years or older.
 
Fee: $375
This is a 10-week course. The fee covers the course materials that you will receive the first night of class.
Course fee does not include the cost of taking the FAA Knowledge Test or any associated materials.

Schedule: Choose from 2 locations!
  • Green Bay - Mondays, starting January 27 through April 6, 2020 - 6:00-9:00 p.m.
    Executive Air Building at Austin Straubel Airport - 2131 Airport Dr.
  • Appleton - Wednesdays, starting January 29 through April 8, 2020 - 6:00-9:00 p.m.
    Appleton Platinum Flight Center - N259 Ares Dr.
Enrollment is limited to 20 students per location.
