Hi! My name is Jacob Kornetzke, and I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer! I will be graduating in December 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science, and plan on attending Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri to become a chiropractor.
I began my love with fitness in high school when I decided that I didn’t want to be the “small kid.” As a freshman, I weighed 91 pounds. I graduated 130 pounds, but told my- self (and others) that my goal was to reach a lean 200 pounds. I just reached this goal... 3 years later! I can honestly say fitness has changed my life and taught me a lot about my own capabilities, strengths, weaknesses and drive to accomplish my goals.
Fitness is the best game you can play against yourself. My favorite part is that you can never "win." There is always something that could be improved, and there are a million ways to do it. My job is to find the best path for you to take to accomplish your goals, small to large. I truly believe that the human body is the perfect machine, it isn’t meant to idle.
