A new Packers record!
Gift to scholarships here is Foundation's largest

The Green Bay Packers Foundation has awarded $250,000 to UW-Green Bay's Scholarship Fund, Packers CEO Mark Murphy announced Friday. The challenge gift is doubled by donor matches, yielding one-half million dollars to endow new student scholarships. A formal check presentation will take place Saturday at the Phoenix-Virginia game. Tuning up at the Weidner Center

Last night, Associate Prof. Kevin Collins led his students through a final rehearsal in advance of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band concert tonight (Friday, Dec. 6) at the Weidner. He will be in a tux and his students more formally attired when the house lights go down for the 7:30 p.m. curtain and some seriously good music. "Cajun Folk Songs II," Bach’s "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and Mendelssohn's "Overture for Winds" are among the selections. Learn more
