Frosty focus:
Snapshots from an icily beautiful campus

Monday's mid-day temperature of about minus-15°F put January 6, 2014 into the record books as one of the coldest days ever. One consolation: The frosted windows made for a photographer's delight. With no classes to cancel the January "Winterim" is entirely online save for a travel course or two the campus remains open for business. View gallery

   Graphic header: Campus Seen
in no time flat

Here's a cool time-lapse video. It compresses the weekend of Dec. 13-15 into 2,359 frames, 30 seconds apart, and depicts the herculean work of UW-Green Bay staff members in transforming the stage from Green Bay Symphony Holiday Pops to University Commencement and back in record time. Look for the fast-as-a-blur diploma presentations, the lift-riding piano, the strangely fascinating floor-mop sequences, and more. Click here.
