The Learning Center

The UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus Learning Center (room 113 in the Main Building) offers tutoring and study-skills assistance in both math and writing. These services are provided to UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus students free of charge.

One-on-One Tutoring Help

Student tutors in the Learning Center offer one-on-one assistance in math and English. These students  have successfully completed composition and math classes at the Marinette campus and are able to answer questions, review course material, help prepare for exams, guide discussion, help with brainstorming, and provide tips on study strategies.

Writing Tutor Schedule

If you need help with a written assignment for any class, writing tutors are available at the following times in the Learning Center:

Math Tutor Schedule

If you are struggling with math, there are Math tutors and instructors available at the following times in the Learning Center:

Online Tutoring via Brainfuse

Our new partnership with Brainfuse allows Marinette campus students to access homework help on-demand from Brainfuse-certified tutors in accounting, biology, chemistry, computers and technology, economics, finance, math, physics, statistics, Spanish, and more! Communicate with your tutor in real time through the Brainfuse Online Classroom. 

It's easy to set up your account by using your UWGB.edu email address and password.

Ms. R's Open Writing Lab

Ms. Rysavy works with any student seeking assistance with writing assignments during three Open Writing Lab hours each week in the Learning Center. Get help with writing-related work for any class from a Marinette campus writing instructor.
