Research Interests
Experimental and computational (finite element) analysis of structures under severe loading conditions such as explosions and projectile impacts; developing optimization codes for design improvements in structures; shock mitigation with emphasis on structures with bolted joints; and experimental characterization of polymer composites, metallic and new generation materials under normal and extreme environments.
