Peer Mentoring Program

The Peer Mentoring Program is a mentorship program that connects incoming first-year students and transfer students of multi-ethnic and multicultural backgrounds with a returning student who identifies as multi-ethnic, multicultural and/or a transfer student.  
 
The program aims to help incoming first-year students and transfer students of multi-ethnic and multicultural backgrounds find success on the campus, in the classroom and within the Green Bay community. For example, students will be:
 
-Meeting bi-weekly with their mentor to discuss college transitions
-Attend monthly cultural development workshops by mentors
-Attend monthly professional development workshop by local professional community members of diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds
 
Selected first-year students and transfer students of multi-ethnic and multicultural backgrounds will be expected to attend biweekly meetings with a mentor, monthly talk sessions and professional community workshops. After completing the program, each participant can earn a $200 textbook voucher for Spring semester textbook purchase.
