Rock Academy

July 27 - 30, 2020

This summer is gonna rock!!! If you have been playing guitar, bass, keyboard, or drums for at least one year and are entering grades 8-12, join other musicians at UW-Green Bay’s summer music camp Rock Academy. Rock Academy was created to inspire the full band experience. Campers will work directly with some of the top performers, music educators and Grammy-nominated artists in the business today. You will establish key skills necessary to becoming not just a better player, but developing a more in-depth understanding of what it takes to be a performer, songwriter and improviser. In addition to putting together a rock concert at the end of the week, each student will work with faculty to write and arrange two to three songs to perform at the final concert. This music camp is open to commuters and housing campers. At Rock Academy, you not only learn -- you rock!
