Response to an Outbreak

The University will implement a notification process for local hospitals and public health officials in the event of an outbreak.

All reports of infected persons or suspected cases of COVID-19 shall be made to the Office of COVID Response by students, faculty and staff. This Office shall coordinate with the County Health Authority in the reporting of infection or suspected infection and provisions of assistance in tracking and tracing as requested by the Brown County Health Department.

Until an effective method can be found students, faculty and staff should consider keeping a contact journal – a list of other people who you have been in close contact with each day. If you do get sick, this would make it easier to get in touch with those people so they can take proper precautions to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
