Phuture Phoenix Primary

The Phuture Phoenix Primary Program introduces elementary students to college awareness starting as early as kindergarten and will embrace a culture of college knowledge that is accessible to staff, students, and community members. Every classroom at a Phuture Phoenix Primary will adopt a university or college and display symbolism for that campus including mascots, campus colors, and signs. College terminology and vocabulary words will be incorporated into grade level curriculum, and regular “college awareness” assemblies will take place with guests from different regional colleges. This program supports the fundamental mission of Phuture Phoenix: providing opportunities for underrepresented and disadvantaged students to believe post-secondary education is importantattainable, and available.
