"An Exploration of Professional Social Work Boundaries"
Grant in Aid of Research
Final Report: " This report summarizes the use of funds received from the Grants in Aid of Research to support my research project entitled “An Exploration of Professional Social Work Boundaries”. The $400 received through the GIAR was used to subsidize travel (mileage) expenses for the ten interviews I conducted for the phenomenological study. The interviews were conducted from October 2012 through December 2012 in Appleton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Jefferson, Madison, and Milwaukee. The study resulted in completion of my dissertation on May 18, 2013. My dissertation, which will soon be available on ProQuest, is entitled “The Complexity of Social Work Boundaries: A Constructive-Development Exploration”. My future plans for this research include submitting a proposal to the Journal of Social Work and presenting the results at the 2014 Annual Conference of the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors."
