Green Bay-based Purecart Enterprises, LLC now markets its product to a broad range of businesses /markets throughout the U.S. and beyond.

In March 2011 Surgical Site Solutions debuted its innovative medical device, the ClipVac, at the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses in Philadelphia.
HUI Manufacturing
HUI Manufacturing was interested in investigating market expansion opportunities for their core competencies and expertise. The company had identified six market segments as potential targets, but needed more information to refine their strategic vision. WISC is a Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Specialty Center doing market research for the SBDC at UW-Whitewater. WISC’s market analysis provided a high level overview of these six markets and identified which markets and customer types within those markets could provide future expansion opportunities.

In September, my wife, Michele, and I were dining at Paris in Pembine, a wonderful restaurant here in our community. On our way out of the restaurant, Michele noticed the “FOR SALE” sign outside the restaurant. Step inside the door of Nell’s Wigs and Boutique in Allouez and you will feel an instant sense of why UW-Green Bay alumna and company founder, Stacey Nellen-Kolze, ‘98, opened this business in the first place. The showroom at Nell’s, featuring an array of products and adorned in local art and words of inspiration and strength, demonstrates the warmth and security which is central to Nellen-Kolze’s mission of caring, compassion, and service.
