Nina earned her B.A. in Spanish and Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she worked as a study abroad advisor for International Academic Programs. In 2021, she finished her Ph.D. at Tulane University, where she taught Spanish and Portuguese in addition to Gender and Sexuality Studies. Nina has worked for PEN Argentina, Meninas Cartoneras, and has published in Latin American Theatre Review, Revista de Estudios de Género y Sexualidades (formerly Letras Femeninas), Luso-Brazilian Review, and Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes. Her research interests include contemporary Latin American literature, post-authoritarianism in the Southern Cone and Brazil, documentary theater and film, and gender studies.
