Member Responsibilities

By becoming a member, you agree to fulfil your responsibilities:
  • To actively participate in meetings and events regularly-at least three meetings/events per semester (other activities in lieu of these may be possible for those with class schedule issues)
  • To recruit new members for the organization
  • To assist SAM student leaders and faculty advisor in other organizational activities such as distribution of flyers, organizing events, coordinating guest speakers etc.
  • To volunteer, when available, at community service events, recruiting events and other events
  • To be professional and ethical in your treatment of fellow members and guests
  • To help maintain a positive, friendly organizational environment
  • To pay membership dues on time
