Viking Storytelling
Adrian Spendlow is a renowned poet, actor, and performance artist from Scarborough, England. Of late, he has worked extensively with the Yorvik Viking Festival, honing his skills of telling tales about and by Vikings to people of all ages. This past summer, he joined the Viking village in Gudvangen Valley, Norway as the local “Skald” and Jarl’s poet. He comes to America this Fall first, as the Skald working the crowds at the largest Scandinavian gathering in the US (the Host Fest, Minot) September 26 - 29, and second as the Skald in Residence at the UWGB Viking House, October 1 - 7.
