Prevea Medical Services

High Quality
Care

In partnership with Prevea, we’re committed to providing you with the highest quality of care with free office visits.

When you come for an appointment, you can expect professional service with caring staff who will take time during your appointment to explain medical procedures, answer questions and provide education. We know that being in an unfamiliar setting on campus can be stressful, so we make every effort to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

For New Students

As an enrolled student, you will have access to many of our medical and counseling services for free or at greatly reduced prices. Make it easier for you to take advantage of these services by knowing your health information before coming to campus.

Know your health history, allergies and the medications you take.

Know your immunization and vaccination history. Anyone immunized/ vaccinated in Wisconsin may log on to the Wisconsin Immunization Registry at dhfswir.org and click on “Public Immunization Record Access” to obtain your record. If you cannot locate your history, contact your health care provider.

Assure you are up-to-date on your immunizations/vaccinations.Please note that while the University does not require proof of vaccination, our medical staff highly recommends you are up-to-date with all of your vaccinations. If you live in Residence Life, you will be asked to confirm you received information on Meningitis and Hepatitis B as part of your housing application.

Ask your health care provider or local health department to review your records and catch up on any vaccines you may have missed prior to coming to campus. Refer to the CDC’s vaccination recommendations, by age:
