Who should be a Women & Gender Studies minor

Any student may elect Women and Gender Studies as a minor in addition to a major disciplinary or interdisciplinary. The minor is excellent preparation for further study in law as well as for graduate programs in areas such as women's studies, politics, history, psychology, social work, administration, literature, and education. Graduates with women's and gender studies minors are working in a variety of fields: including business, child and family services, education, journalism, medicine, ministry, politics, and social service administration.

Some majors that work well with this minor are English, History, Human Development, Human Biology, Humanistic Studies, Public and Environmental Affairs, Social Change & Development, Education, Psychology, Social Work, and all of the Social Sciences.
