Career Advising for Alumni

Our mission is to help you find post-graduate success. We’re proud of our students who get hired before graduation but realize it might take a little time for you to land your first job. The UW-Green Bay Career Planning & Professional Connections team offers the following resources to UW-Green Bay graduates.

First Destination Survey

Are you a recent graduate? Let us know how you're doing! Our graduates' responses to the First Destination Survey are critical for Career Planning & Professional Connections, academic departments, and the University. This information allows us to determine changes in the job market, the graduate degrees our alumni pursue, and where alumni are employed after graduation. The information you provide is confidential — results are not published in a personally identifiable manner.

Career Advising

Alumni of UW-Green Bay are provided up to three appointments with their career advisor, within one year of graduation.  You must have graduated from UW-Green Bay to receive services—attending UW-Green Bay without completing a degree does not qualify. Our staff will verify graduation.  If you no longer have access to schedule appointments in Navigate, call the Career Planning office at 920-465-2163.

Need something more?

If it has been more than one year since graduation, or you need something beyond the scope of three appointments with your career advisor, the Continuing Education department offers a fee-based career coaching service that is available to the community.

Workshops & Job Fairs

Career Planning & Professional Connections offers a variety of workshops, programs and job fair events that are available to alumni. Exceptions include Mock Interview Day, Dine Like a Professional Etiquette Lunch and the Career Closet. See Workshops & Events.
