UW-Green Bay alumni have several opportunities and resources to help you reach your career goals. Career Planning at UW-Green Bay offers career information, advice and occupational guidance. Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, we have tools to help.
Personal Connections
We are an alumni network of almost 40,000 who support each other by opening doors, making introductions, mentoring and providing career advice. If you are looking for a job, seeking a change of direction or exploring a specific employer, the Alumni Relations Office is your career planning resource.
To be connected with fellow alumni, please complete the appropriate survey below and the Alumni Relations Office will follow up within two weeks.
Career Advising
Career Planning offers:
- Career coaching/advising for recent grads
- Guides for researching and applying to grad school.
- Guides for writing résumés, professional letters, interviewing, and other job search resources.
- Handshake, Search for jobs, post open positions, hire a student or alumnus, or take on an intern.
- LinkedIn profile setup
The first career advising visit is complimentary. For additional services, the fees are $30 for two meetings within six months and $50 for four meetings within a year.
Career Assessments
Tools such as Strong Interest Inventory and MBTI might assist you in determining potential career fields or graduate programs. These inventories allow you to respond to choices regarding your interests, competencies, and preferences. Your profile is then related to various careers. A staff member in Career Services will meet with you to determine whether an assessment tool could help you with your career or graduate school decision-making, and help you interpret your results.
As an alumnus, the cost of either assessment is $65 and includes an individual one hour follow-up appointment with a Career Planning staff member.
