First significant snow arrives

The first significant snowfall of the season fell on the Cofrin Arboretum on November15th and 16th. The National Weather Service Green Bay weather station reported a total of 2.9 inches of snow at the airport. Another 2.5 inches fell on the 19th, with added flurries brings our November total to 6.2 inches. Last year we did not receive measurable snowfall until December 14! If you are keeping track, the previous significant snowfall was 1.7 inches that fell on April 11 (219 days ago).
