Available at the UWGB Cofrin Library & Area Research Center

The Cofrin Library and the Archives Department host research field trips for area middle and high schools in November and January.  UWGB staff help students find appropriate primary and secondary source materials for their topics using the Library’s archives collections, book and journal collections, and database subscriptions.  Depending on their topics, students will have an opportunity to use archival collections.  Staff and seasoned NHD volunteers also help students conceptualize their final projects.

The number of field trip days and the number of students per field trip is limited.

To discuss field trip options, please contact historyday@uwgb.edu.

Requirements
  • Topics for fall are due one month prior to the research field trip.
