From 1970 through 1994, when he retired as associate chancellor, Dr. Harden helped speed UW-Green Bay’s emergence as a high-demand regional institution. His achievements included the private partnership that built modern residence halls; the growth of the Founders Association in support of student scholarships and academics; leadership of the move to NCAA Division I Athletics; and guidance of the University’s first capital campaign.
