Dr. Cupit's work is in death, dying and bereavement. Her current research interests are on college student grief, the uses of the Internet in the study of death and dying, and the effects of bereavement camps as a form of grief intervention for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. In addition, she is the founder and director of Camp Lloyd, a summer day camp for grieving children. During the week of Camp Lloyd, Human Development students are trained to be Big Buddies to the campers.
