Greater Green Bay Area Community
Green Bay is Wisconsin's third largest city (population of 104,891). Top employers include manufacturing (particularly paper products, equipment for the paper industry, metal fabricating, and food products), services (particularly health care and insurance), transportation logistics, tourism, and retailing. Green Bay hosts a foreign seaport and is also home to four-time NFL Super Bowl champions - the Green Bay Packers.
The area boasts a well-maintained park system, good public library system, public museums, wildlife sanctuary within the city, zoo, state historic park, and botanical garden. Green Bay and nearby communities have excellent schools. Green Bay is also the gateway to two areas of the state known for their natural beauty: the Door County peninsula and the "northwoods" country.
