UW-Green Bay

Private Swim Lesson Program

Registration for Fall session, begining in September, will open Monday, July 30th.

Payment needs to be paid in full for the entire session prior to the first week's lesson. Please pay at the Kress front desk at your first scheduled lesson (accept cash, credit, or check). See below for total amount on given day.

$17 per lesson (# of lessons dependent on day of week)

Make-Up Lessons are only offered due for an instructor being sick or if we have an unexpected pool shutdown. In this case, the make-up lessons will occur the week after lessons are scheduled to end.

Cancelations should go through the Kress Center Front Desk (920) 465-2449 or email Casey pivonkac@uwgb.edu. If your child is sick or cannot attend the scheduled lesson, please give a courtesy call or email. There is NO refund for cancelations.

Private swim lessons are instructed by UW-Green Bay students, therefore, we split the academic year into two sessions. Your private lessons will occur at the same time and day each week. Below indicates any dates that there are NO lessons, the scheduled start/end date, and the corresponding price.

Frequently Asked Question

What if we know that on a certain week we will not be able to make our lesson?

Answer: That is no problem. Just inform the Lesson Coordinator (Casey) of your intended absence date. We will not be giving any refunds or discounted rates for missing lesson/s.

What happens when lessons begin?

After you have received confirmation of the time-slot and day that your lesson is taking place, all you need to do is make the payment and come to your first scheduled lesson!

Families will meet their instructor in the pool at their designated time. The first lesson, the instructor will go over goals of the swimmer. This is a good time to get on the same page and make sure the instructor has a good understanding of the swimmers swim level.

Each week you should expect your swimmer to increase their abilities and have fun doing it.

Facility Notes

  • There is a locker room available along with towel service; as well as a family changing room
  • Equipment we do have: Rings, Kickboards, Noodles, Dumbbells, and Fins
