AirFire Mobile Inspire Change Video Scholarship
About: The Inspire Change Video Scholarship will award one (1) first prize winner with a $2,000 scholarship, one (1) second prize winner a $500 scholarship, and one (1) third prize winner a $250 scholarship. The scholarship opportunity is offered to graduating seniors as well as enrolled college students living in or attending school in Wisconsin. AirFire Mobile, headquartered in Little Chute, WI, wants to give back to our community. That is why the Inspire Change Video Scholarship is exclusively offered to students from or attending school in Wisconsin. Our goal is to enable students with a platform to impact their peer’s lives in a positive way. We believe this is an extremely relevant topic for students as nearly all students know someone or are themselves addicted to their phone.
What to do: Entrants will create and submit a short video which identifies phone addictions and the implications those addictions have. Videos will encourage students to moderate their phone usage and utilize common phone etiquettes. There will be up to 7 finalists chosen which will be featured on AirFire Mobile’s Facebook page for the public to vote for the winner. The use of Facebook has provided the perfect platform for this scholarship to be spread to tens of thousands of young people in a very viral fashion.
