The University is notified regularly of scholarships offered by local, regional, and national organizations. In general, we limit this listing to awards that are geared towards Wisconsin residents or students attending schools within the state. Students who want to conduct a broader search may find the resources on the Helpful Links page to be useful. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information, nor are we responsible for the content in any of these outside sites or sources of information. Use good judgment and common sense when researching potential scholarships. We update this link to include any new awards we are made aware of. Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

Eligibility: Available to any and all high school basketball players and managers, boy or girl planning to pursue a college degree with any UW System school. Most recipients will not play at the college level.

Deadline: Opens on February 1--April 30 each year

Brule River Sportsmen's Club Scholarship

Eligibility: Intend to use this scholarship at the junior, senior or graduate level. Attend a college in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Be preparing for a career in natural resources. Be majoring in public policy, law, political science, engineering, or any other field in which the student could prepare for a career in a profession that would further public understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural resources. Lastly, must be a member of the Brule River Sportsmen's Club or the child or grandchild of a member.

Community First Credit Union Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Graduating high school senior 2) Applicant must be a primary member of the Credit Union with an account in good standing

The Jaycees of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc.

Eligibility: 1) Applicants must be at least 22 years old, having returned to school after at least two years off 2) Applicant must be a continuing student with at least 2 semesters of school completed since returning to school (Summer school does not apply and student must be enrolled in upcoming term.). 3)Must be attending a Wisconsin post-secondary institution pursuing a minimum of a two year undergraduate program. 4) Must be full time as defined by the school they are attending. 5) Must show have a 3.0 GPA.

Richard Newcomb & Janice Schreiber-Newcomb Education Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Widows who are too young to receive Social Security assistance (receiving benefits for dependent children shall not disqualify an applicant). 2) Preference may be given to applicants from the Shawano area.

Shawano County Farm Progress Days Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Be a Shawano County resident, or currently studying at a high school within Shawano County.

Thomas B. and Grace Stevenson Jones Scholarship

Eligibility: Wisconsin resident of Iowa, Grant, or Lafayette counties who are enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, a duly accredited four-year college or university.
