The University is notified regularly of scholarships offered by local, regional, and national organizations. In general, we limit this listing to awards that are geared towards Wisconsin residents or students attending schools within the state. Students who want to conduct a broader search may find the resources on the Helpful Links page to be useful. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information, nor are we responsible for the content in any of these outside sites or sources of information. Use good judgment and common sense when researching potential scholarships. We update this link to include any new awards we are made aware of. Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

Eligibility: Available to any and all high school basketball players and managers, boy or girl planning to pursue a college degree with any UW System school. Most recipients will not play at the college level.

Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance (Milwaukee Chap. 41)

Eligibility: 1) Wisconsin resident majoring in Accounting or Finance at a school with a Wisconsin campus (including online attendance) 2) Entering senior year in the Fall 2019 semester (current junior).

Altrusa International Green Bay Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Returning to school to complete technical/college education that was previously interrupted, 2) Be completing studies in fields related to improving your level of literacy or quality of life, and 3) Have demonstrated need and be able to justify this need for additional assistance.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Racine Branch

Eligibility: 1) Female legal resident of Racine County, Wisconsin with junior or senior status (Fall 2019) at a four-year institution. 2) Must be entering or currently attending full-time with a GPA of at least 3.00.

Aurora Health Foundation - Greater Green Bay

Eligibility: 1) Pursuing a healthcare related field 2) Provide letters of recommendation.

Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Kathleen Skowlund Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Walworth County resident 2) Staff or family member of Aurora Health Care caregiver 3) Pursuing a healthcare related field of study. 4) GPA of at least 3.00.

Brule River Sportsmen's Club Scholarship

Eligibility: Intend to use this scholarship at the junior, senior or graduate level. Attend a college in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Be preparing for a career in natural resources. Be majoring in public policy, law, political science, engineering, or any other field in which the student could prepare for a career in a profession that would further public understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural resources. Lastly, must be a member of the Brule River Sportsmen's Club or the child or grandchild of a member.

Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin

Eligibility: 1) Diagnosis of epilepsy. 2) Preference to those currently residing within the organization's service area. 3) GPA of 3.00 or higher. 4) Letters of reference and essay.

Eugene R. Bonynge Memorial Graduate Student Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Graduate of a Minnesota high school. 2) Full-time graduate student pursuing a degree that will qualify the student as one of the following (upon professional licensure): Psychologist (LP), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Practicing Clinical Counselor (LPCC). 3) GPA of at least 3.00.

Fond du Lac Area Retired Educators Scholarship

Eligibility: Current high school senior residing in FDL County or attending a school within the county who will attend a university with a DPI accredited School of Education ~OR~ 2) Graduate of a FDL County public high school who is accepted into an accredited School of Education.

Green Bay P.E.O. Reciprocity Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Must be a female, Brown County resident and a legal resident or citizen of the U.S. or Canada. 2) Applicant must have at least 24 consecutive months as a non-student sometime in her adult life and be within 24 months of completing her educational goal. 3) Applicant must demonstrate need through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and provide a Student Aid Report (SAR). 4) No doctoral students accepted. 5) Must attach personal essay.

Hazel L. Stephenson Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) All Fond du Lac County high school graduates who will be college freshmen or who are continuing students in an undergraduate program at a UW System campus.

Institute for Internal Auditors Fox Valley/Central Wisconsin Chapter Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Declared major or minor in accounting or business administration with an interest in internal auditing.

The Jaycees of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc.

Eligibility: 1) Applicants must be at least 22 years old, having returned to school after at least two years off 2) Applicant must be a continuing student with at least 2 semesters of school completed since returning to school (Summer school does not apply and student must be enrolled in upcoming term.). 3) Must be attending a Wisconsin post-secondary institution pursuing a minimum of a two year undergraduate program. 4) Must be full time as defined by the school they are attending. 5) Must show have a 3.0 GPA.

Kids' Chance of Wisconsin

Eligibility: 1) Child of a parent who sustained a work-related serious injury or fatality, covered by the worker's compensation laws of Wisconsin 2) Between the ages of 17 to 24 at time of application 3) Preference given to Wisconsin residents and students attending Wisconsin schools

Mary Lou French Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Must be at least age 25 with demonstrated financial need 2) Plan to enter a field of study that serves women and children 3) Reside in Sheboygan County or attend an educational institution in Sheboygan County

Milwaukee Art Museum Garden Club

Eligibility: 1) Must have at least sophomore standing at a college or university in Wisconsin 2) Must be majoring in a horticulture-related field with a career goal related to hoticulture, landscape design, or the environment.

Richard Newcomb & Janice Schreiber-Newcomb Education Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Widows who are too young to receive Social Security assistance (receiving benefits for dependent children shall not disqualify an applicant). 2) Preference may be given to applicants from the Shawano area.

Sam Hennessee Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Studying medical field. 2) Student must reside in or have graduated from a Green Lake, Marquette, or Waushara county high school. 3) Student must submit 250-500 word essay. 4) Other documents must be provided.

SHRM Sheboygan Area Jack Schoemer Scholarship

Eligibility: Be a Sheboygan, Calument, Fond Du Lac, Ozaukee, or Manitowoc County resident. Be a full-time student. Have a declared major or emphasis in human resources management or business major with an emphasis on human resource management (or an intent to do so). Show commitment and career interest in human resources. Be in good standing at school and in community.

Eligibility: 1) Be a Shawano County resident, or currently studying at a high school within Shawano County.

Thomas B. and Grace Stevenson Jones Scholarship

Eligibility: Wisconsin resident of Iowa, Grant, or Lafayette counties who are enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, a duly accredited four-year college or university.

Welsh Club of the Milwaukee Area Music Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Open to Wisconsin residents of any ethnic background (preference may be given to persons of Welsh heritage). 2) Must be attending (or intending to enroll) full-time as an undergraduate in pursuit of a music major.

Wisconsin Laboratory Association (WLA) Scholarship

Eligibility: Must have completed at least one semester of coursework and be enrolled in a curriculum that enables student to pursue a career in a non-medical laboratory related field. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
