The University is notified regularly of scholarships offered by local, regional, and national organizations. In general, we limit this listing to awards that are geared towards Wisconsin residents or students attending schools within the state. Students who want to conduct a broader search may find the resources on the Helpful Links page to be useful. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information, nor are we responsible for the content in any of these outside sites or sources of information. Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

Eligibility: Available to any and all high school basketball players and managers, boy or girl planning to pursue a college degree with any UW System school. Most recipients will not play at the college level.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Racine Branch

Eligibility: 1) Female legal resident of Racine County, Wisconsin with junior or senior status (Fall 2019) at a four-year institution. 2) Must be entering or currently attending full-time with a GPA of at least 3.00.

Eligibility: 1) Pursuing a healthcare related field 2) Provide letters of recommendation.

Brule River Sportsmen's Club Scholarship

Eligibility: Intend to use this scholarship at the junior, senior or graduate level. Attend a college in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Be preparing for a career in natural resources. Be majoring in public policy, law, political science, engineering, or any other field in which the student could prepare for a career in a profession that would further public understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural resources. Lastly, must be a member of the Brule River Sportsmen's Club or the child or grandchild of a member.

Eligibility: 1) Graduating high school senior 2) Applicant must be a primary member of the Credit Union with an account in good standing

Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin

Eligibility: 1) Diagnosis of epilepsy. 2) Preference to those currently residing within the organization's service area. 3) GPA of 3.00 or higher. 4) Letters of reference and essay.

Fond du Lac Area Retired Educators Scholarship

Eligibility: Current high school senior residing in FDL County or attending a school within the county who will attend a university with a DPI accredited School of Education ~OR~ 2) Graduate of a FDL County public high school who is accepted into an accredited School of Education.

The Jaycees of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc.

Eligibility: 1) Applicants must be at least 22 years old, having returned to school after at least two years off 2) Applicant must be a continuing student with at least 2 semesters of school completed since returning to school (Summer school does not apply and student must be enrolled in upcoming term.). 3) Must be attending a Wisconsin post-secondary institution pursuing a minimum of a two year undergraduate program. 4) Must be full time as defined by the school they are attending. 5) Must show have a 3.0 GPA.

Kids' Chance of Wisconsin

Eligibility: 1) Child of a parent who sustained a work-related serious injury or fatality, covered by the worker's compensation laws of Wisconsin 2) Between the ages of 17 to 24 at time of application 3) Preference given to Wisconsin residents and students attending Wisconsin schools

Richard Newcomb & Janice Schreiber-Newcomb Education Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Widows who are too young to receive Social Security assistance (receiving benefits for dependent children shall not disqualify an applicant). 2) Preference may be given to applicants from the Shawano area.

SHRM Sheboygan Area Jack Schoemer Scholarship

Eligibility: Be a Sheboygan, Calument, Fond Du Lac, Ozaukee, or Manitowoc County resident. Be a full-time student. Have a declared major or emphasis in human resources management or business major with an emphasis on human resource management (or an intent to do so). Show commitment and career interest in human resources. Be in good standing at school and in community.

Shawano County Farm Progress Days Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Be a Shawano County resident, or currently studying at a high school within Shawano County.

Soroptimist International of Fond du Lac: Dr. Virginia Wagner Award

Eligibility: For a woman curently in a baccalaureate or advanced degree program. Judging is based on effort toward education, extracurricular activities, and financial need. Applicants must submit current transcripts with applications.

Thomas B. and Grace Stevenson Jones Scholarship

Eligibility: Wisconsin resident of Iowa, Grant, or Lafayette counties who are enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, a duly accredited four-year college or university.

Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarships

Eligibility: Wisconsin residents pursuing a scientific field of study that enhances the environment. Most awards require a 3.00 GPA.

Wisconsin Laboratory Association (WLA) Scholarship

Eligibility: Must have completed at least one semester of coursework and be enrolled in a curriculum that enables student to pursue a career in a non-medical laboratory related field. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
