Charlotte Font Family
Helvetica Font Family

The University logo is set in a typeface named Charlotte. Helvetica and Times are solid, complementary recommendations for use in UW-Green Bay publications. Helvetica and Times are commonly available, legible at most sizes and considered standards within the printing and computer software industries. Charlotte is available in serif and sans serif versions. Minimal variation is best; the use of more than two or three different sizes in a single printed piece is not recommended.
Charlotte typeface files will not be available from the Marketing and University Communication Office. If a department wishes to have access to use these typefaces, they must purchase the appropriate licenses. The Wordmark will be available with the letters rendered as vector outlines.
Indents, paragraphs, margins and other signals
Choose one clear signal to avoid clutter. Need a subhead? If you use bold type, there’s less need to also italicize, change type size or font, indent, center, use all caps or add extra line spacing. Less is more.
Letters and brochure copy will have a clean look if body copy is flush left with no indents and one line space between paragraphs. Longer line lengths require larger type and more leading. (Leading is the space between lines.) Generous margins and ample white space also enhance readability.
