Shahidul Islam
Lecturer
Dr. Md Shahidul Islam is a Lecturer of Supply Chain Management at the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay. With a distinguished military career spanning 27 years, Dr. Shahidul Islam retired as a Colonel from the Bangladesh Army in 2019. He commanded 2,500 officers and soldiers within the active force. He made significant contributions to UN peacekeeping missions in Sierra Leone and Darfur, Sudan, and was awarded a Force Commander's commendation for his pivotal role in establishing peace in Darfur.
He completed his PhD in Marketing in May 2023, with a research focus encompassing luxury-brand counterfeiting. His research interests include methodology, brand marketing, counterfeiting, and supply chain sustainability.
