Music Program

Everyone belongs in the music program!

All students, regardless of major, may choose from a comprehensive selection of classroom coursework in Music, including Music Appreciation, Jazz History, The History of Rock and Roll, Vocal Techniques, Music Theory, Aural Skills, and instrumental lessons. In addition, we have three ensembles where learning at a high level and getting college credit is simply fun. Sign up now for Jazz Ensemble, Small Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and/or University Chorus. For students planning for a musical future, the UW-Sheboygan offers all required courses for the first two years. Email Dr. Christy Talbott before registering for your classes; she is voluntarily your faculty advisor. This can save you thousands of dollars and a year or more of classroom time.
