How to Order an Official Transcript
Transcripts may be ordered in the following ways:
- ONLINE via the Student
Information System (requires an active SIS account),
or by directly accessing the National
Student Clearinghouse, using a credit card. Online requests
may be designated for standard delivery, same day service,
RUSH overnight mail, or pre-ordered to be processed upon
completion of semester grades and/or degree conferral. Cost
per transcript is $8 for standard delivery, $15 for fax/mail
delivery, or $30 for overnight (next day) delivery.
- IN PERSON at the Bursar's Office. You
must submit a completed Transcript
Request Form and payment by cash, check or money order
in the amount of $8, $15 or $30 per transcript based upon
requested delivery time. All transcripts are generated and
distributed from the Office of the Registrar.
- BY MAIL, by sending a payment and a handwritten
or typed request to the Bursar's Office.
- The handwritten or typed request must include your name and other names used, the last year attended or graduated, social security number, current mailing address, email, and phone number (so we can contact you if there are any problems in processing the request).
- The request must be signed.
- Include the name and address of the recipient if the transcript is to be mailed to someone other than you.
- Make checks or money orders payable to University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the amount of $8 (per transcript).
- Mailed transcript requests should be sent along with payment to:
University of Wisconsin - Green Bay
Bursar's Office
2420 Nicolet Drive
Green Bay, WI 54311
Requests received by mail are processed at our lowest priority in the order they
are received. All transcripts are generated and distributed
from the Office of the Registrar.
Transcripts are usually processed within five business days except during peak processing periods (June and January).
Questions regarding transcripts should be directed to registrar@uwgb.edu.
Note: If any UW-Green Bay department or facility
(e.g., the Library, Bursar's Office, etc.) has placed a hold
on your student record, you must resolve that hold before a
transcript will be released.
To ensure confidentiality and to comply with federal regulations, the student's signature release is required when ordering any transcript.
