Welcome to your Phoenix Family!!

As your Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Climate I want to welcome you to UWGB! Chancellor Miller created my position to be the chief student advocate for you and I am proud to take that responsibility very seriously. My entire career has been built around working with students to create energy, excitement, and inclusive communities.

I began serving as your VC on July 1, 2017 and my philosophy is that I work for you! I want to insure that all of our students are excited to be here and feel safe and comfortable. I will then challenge you to take your college experience by the reins and thoroughly engage yourself in our Phoenix community. Involvement in college is a fun way to gain the experiences needed to succeed in college and beyond.

My journey, like many of you, began in Wisconsin. I grew up near Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin and graduated from UW-LaCrosse. I received my master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and my doctorate in education from Florida International University.  I have worked at Florida State University, University of Illinois, Western Illinois University, University of Miami (FL) and Florida International University. I am so excited to be back home in Wisconsin and bringing some experiences to help you learn, grow and succeed here at UWGB. Together, we form a special Phoenix family that I am honored to participate in with you. Welcome to UWGB and the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Climate and let me know what we can do to better your student experience. Go Phoenix!!
