Helping You
Learn & Grow

Benefit from layers of new student support.

The GPS program provides an additional layer of support to aid in your transition from high school or the workforce to give you the strongest start possible at UW-Green Bay. Beginning with GB Orientation, you will learn about campus facilities, academic expectations, and have the opportunity to connect with peers, faculty and support staff to begin finding your place in our community. It doesn’t end at orientation!

How Does GPS fit in?

We have built layers of ongoing support leading up to and through your first year at UW-Green Bay.

Meet a Phoenix

"I am very grateful to have the GPS program at UW-Green Bay because it was a very nice bridge from high school-level courses to college-level courses.

There’s this thing in college where it’s like—well you’re independent now. You are independent, you have your own choices, but you have these people here that are happy to help you make your choices a lot easier essentially."
