Patricia Ann Naze, 66, Algoma, died unexpectedly at home of natural causes. She was born in New Jersey, on July 18, 1945, to James and Eleanor (Lombardo) Naze. Her family moved to the Algoma area, where Patricia graduated from St. Mary Grade School and the Algoma High School. After graduation she worked at the US Plywood for a few years, then she did secretarial work for Miller, Pies, Blazkovec and Evans. Then the majority of her working career she was a secretary and clerical person for the University of Green Bay in the Student Life Department. She would organize activities, arrange programs, set up clubs and organizations, arrange for all the catering for all the students events on campus and handle all aspects of the students at UWGB.

Patricia was one of the original volunteers for Bay Fest. She also was a big promoter of the UWGB's Women's Cage Club, which promoted women's athletics for the university. Patricia was also working for the Green Bay Press-Gazette doing reel to reel back ups and any other multi tasking jobs that the paper needed her to do.

Patricia took great pride and joy spending time with her three grandchildren. She was part of the Kewaunee County Sweet Adeline's Group for about seven years. She enjoyed all types of gardening, crocheting and knitting, cooking with new recipes, politics, especially when it came to Algoma. She was a huge believer in Algoma and wanted it to be like it used to be. Patricia's highlight was running in the Mayoral race this year.

Patricia Ann is survived by her son, Todd Naze, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Kensington, Allison and Isaac; one brother, Darrell Naze, Suamico; three sisters, Shirley (Gary) Marquardt, Grays Lake, Ill.; Nancy (David) Klessig, Algoma; and Jean (David) Shelton, Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother, Robert.

A Memorial gathering and service will take place Friday, May 11, 2012, from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma with Pastoral Minister Kathy Zeman officiating.

Family and friends may sign the online guest book at the Schinderle website.
