As a resident, your Resident Mentor (RM) is your "go to" person for any question or concern you might have. Select RMs are on duty 24/7 to handle your after-hours needs and concerns.
After-Hours Assistance
With approximately 2,000 residents living on campus, it is crucial to have Housing & Residential Education staff working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the evening and on weekends, select Resident Mentors (RMs) are on duty to handle your after-hours needs and concerns. Each area has an assigned pair of Resident Mentors (RMs) that oversee the buildings each night. Residents can reach the RMs in their area in the evenings or weekends by calling the RM duty phone(s) for that area.
How to Call On-Duty Staff
There are always a number of Resident Mentors (RMs) on-duty in the evenings and weekends. You can contact Resident Mentors one of two ways:
- Call the front desk and ask for assistance: 920-465-2040
- Call one of the RM duty phones for your area.
When to Call On-Duty Staff
Resident Mentors are on-duty from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on school nights and 9 p.m. to 3 a.m Friday and Saturday. During these times you can reach RM staff at the duty phone numbers.
Duty schedule:
- Sunday - Thursday: 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.
- Friday - Saturday: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
For routine concerns, you're also encouraged to call the 24/7 front desk housing helpline at 920-465-2040.
In case of emergency, call 911 or 9-911 from a campus phone or University Police at 920-465-2300.
